TAKEUCHI - TB250-2 − COMPACT EXCAVATOR The TB250-2 is Takeuchi’s newest excavator in the 5 ton weight class filling the space between the current TB240 and TB260 models. It has an operating weight of 10,957 lbs. (canopy) to 11,288 lbs. (cab), a dig depth of 12’ 4.8” and max reach of over 20’. Its 39 hp engine is Tier 4 final meeting all current EPA emissions regulations and provides outstanding access to all daily service points. The TB250-2 will come equipped with a primary auxiliary circuit capable of 24.2 gpm of flow making it an outstanding platform for many different hydraulic attachments. FUNCTION AND EFFICIENCY • The variable displacement axial piston pump delivers smooth, harmonized control of the work equipment with no reduction in speed. • The standard long arm with integrated thumb mount provides you with a wider working range, dig depth, and simplifies thumb installation. • Load sensing, two speed travel down shifts from low torque/high speed mode to high torque/low speed travel automatically when turning, pushing dirt, or traveling up an incline. • Large slew bearing provides greater longevity and stability over the life of the machine. • Cushioned cylinders improve longevity by reducing shock and they reduce felt recoil to the operator for greater comfort. PEACE OF MIND • The safe start system requires the safety lockout lever be in the raised position in order to start the excavator ensuring hydraulic functions are inactive at start-up. • The boom holding valve and overload alarm are designed to keep the boom from dropping if there is a sudden loss in pressure, and the overload alarm will sound (when ON) if you exceed hydraulic capacity.
