Bobcat Unveils New AT450 Articulating Tractor For Grounds Maintenance Customers
Bobcat recently took the wraps off its new operator-friendly AT450 articulating tractor, designed to bring versatility, stability, and maneuverability to grounds maintenance work. The tractor is compatible with nine belt-driven attachments and has a liquid-cooled, 3-cylinder WG972 engine rated for 32.5 horsepower (24 kilowatts). Bobcat says it’s a good fit for hobby farms, commercial properties, golf courses, and sports facilities that need a machine for material handling, turf maintenance, snow removal, mowing, sweeping, aerating, and other tasks.
Welcome To The Team
The AT450 joins a ground maintenance product lineup that Bobcat has strategically expanded in recent years. The portfolio includes subcompact and compact tractors, utility work machines, small articulated loaders, and mowers. Customers can view the AT450 in person at the Equip Exposition 2023 trade show in Louisville, Kentucky, from October 17th to the 20th.
Your New Utility Infielder
The AT450’s low center of gravity and articulating and oscillating frame keep its wheels in contact with the ground, even on rough, uneven terrain, which Bobcat says results in less ground disturbance and a more comfortable ride. Operators can adjust the tractor’s exclusive hydraulic weight transfer system to boost traction as needed using the onboard control panel. The AT450 can operate continuously on slopes as steep as 20 degrees and for a period of 10 minutes or less on slopes up to 30 degrees, with attachments following the ground contour.
Skid plating under the frame and a compartment below the joystick protect components and the battery. Electric components and service points are tucked safely underneath the hood. The tractor’s LED lights enhance visibility in poor lighting, and operator comfort gets a boost from its ample legroom, adjustable seat, and ergonomically placed foot pegs. Buyers can further equip the tractor with Bobcat’s All-Weather Deluxe Cab Enclosure, which includes a circulating fan, sun shade, suspension seat, and more.
Get To Work
The AT450’s front hitch system makes switching out attachments a quick, tool-free job. Attachments available to customers include a bucket, 61- and 72-inch (155- and 183-centimeter) AirFX mower decks, BrushCat and Flex Deck mowers, a flail cutter, a snowblower, a V-blade, and a turbine blower. Bobcat says it plans to add more attachments in the future.
